SEARCH FOR IDENTITY

Adopted as a 1-year-old and losing touch with his family, Mr. Lo, with the help of C.A.R.E., found his roots in China and was reunited with his own family after 70 years of being abroad.

FINAL REUNION - A DAUGHTER'S LAST WISH

After 3 months in Canada, the 29-year-old student was diagnosed with a rare cancer of the heart. Her last wish was to see her mother who is a poor farmer in China. With the support of Asia Miles, C.A.R.E. arranged a flight for the mother to come to see her dying daughter.

A FAMILY TRAGEDY - AN ANSWERED PRAYER

An 80-year-old woman on financial aid was devastated by a son being murdered and a daughter and a sister coming down with terminal cancer, but had her prayers answered when C.A.R.E. sent her back home to see them for the last time.

TEARS OF JOY - SURVIVING THE EARTHQUAKE

The massive Sichuan earthquake left many broken families with emotional distress and depression. The visit from far-away family members brought love and consolation to the survivors. The reunification of the Guo's family was tearful but joyful.
