TEC4Home COPD is an evaluation
project that studies how technology
can help patients manage their health
at home, after leaving the hospital or
clinic. This technology is called home
health monitoring.

In TEC4Home, patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) use home health monitoring technology to measure and monitor their COPD symptoms at home and share those results with the TEC4Home COPD nurse. The equipment includes:

• Computer tablet

• Blood pressure cuff

• Weight scale

• Fingertip pulse oximeter

• Pedometer

There are no charges or fees for
patients in TEC4Home. The equipment
will be delivered to your home and set
up by a TELUS technician. At the end of
the 60 day monitoring period, a
technician will come to pick up the
equipment
