Final Reunion - A Daughter's Last Wish

After 3 months in Canada, the 29-year-old student was diagnosed with a rare cancer of the heart. Her last wish was to see her mother who is a poor farmer in China. With the support of Asia Miles, C.A.R.E. arranged a flight for the mother to come to see her dying daughter.

mrlo12Adopted as a 1-year-old and losing touch with his family, Mr. Lo, with the help of C.A.R.E., found his roots in China and was reunited with his own family after 70 years of being abroad.

Born in China in 1931, Mr. Lo has been living in Canada for 50 years after he immigrated with his parents in 1954. Only 25 years ago, Mr. Lo learned from his stepmother that he was adopted.
