Disaster Relief

In the wake of the Asian tsunami disaster in 2004, C.A.R.E. has expanded the mandate of the Points of Contact program to help facilitating disaster relief efforts.

Together with Asia Miles, we can now send volunteers including health, rehalibilitation and reconstruction professionals to countries that are affected by disasters.

• A New Hope: Aceh After the Tsunami - Dietrich Ferisen (Aceh, Indonesia)
• Hurricane Katrina: Community Reconstruction - Broadway Church (New Orleans, U.S.)
• Continuing Post-Tsunami Support: Initiating Community-Based Self-Organizing for Environment and Health - York University (Chennai, India)
• China Earthquake Family Reunification
